Two signature traits of a true grower are timing and attention to detail.
Tasks that aren't done on time result in less productive and more labor-intensive crops.
In my experience, amateur growers are most likely to ignore the importance of attention to detail. Work that is put off until tomorrow, or the following day, sometimes isn't handled until the next week. But then it may be too late.
The plants in the attached photo weren't spaced or transplanted on time, and now the grower must play catch up.
The plants are more fragile than they should be, will continuously fall over, and will require careful and time-consuming work to properly support the main stem.
All of this could have been prevented by simply spacing the plants out a few days before the leaves began touching each other.
Timing is key!
